Celebrating the elegance of the Baroque era (16th – 18th century), this unique arena-based event is a rare opportunity to see exotic horse breeds like the Andalusian, Friesian, Lusitano, Lipizzan, Pura Raza Española and Warlander perform breathtaking displays in traditional costumes, including dressage, horse archery and an electrifying high-impact joust.  

The grandeur continues on Saturday evening as the sun sets for our Baroque Feast. Delight in an evening of sumptuous feasting, accompanied by the enchanting melodies of a live string trio, setting the perfect atmosphere for a night of grand revelry. Join us for a night of music, movement, and magnificent indulgence! Dressing up is encouraged.

  • Grand Parade

    Celebrate the beauty of the Baroque era in the Grand Parade! Meet the stunning horses and their riders dressed in traditional costumes, representing a variety of Baroque breeds.

  • Garrocha Display

    See the artistry of the Garrocha, where riders in traditional Iberian dress perform intricate movements with a three metre pole, historically used to herd cattle. This event is a stunning fusion of history, precision, and music.

  • LONG REIN

    The technique of training and exercising horses from the ground using a set of long reins.

  • Cavaliero Display

    Inspired by the ancient Iberian art of bullfighting, this display highlights the incredible skill and elegance of Cavaliero riders as they perform traditional movements to music, dressed in traditional costumes.

  • Pas de Deux

    French for "step of two", see a ridden dressage display with two horses and riders to music

  • Rossfechten Demonstration

    Experience the art of medieval mounted combat as knights showcase some of the tactics and techniques used in battle on horseback in a powerful live presentation

  • JOUST

    Prepare for the ultimate medieval spectacle as fully armored riders charge head-to-head on magnificent Baroque horses, striking each other’s shields with their lances.

  • Last Ride of the Day

    Join us for the festival’s finale as the horses and riders take one last ride around the arena. This is your chance to ask questions, interact with the performers, and even pat the stars of the show!

  • Baroque Feast

    As the sun sets on Saturday evening, join us for a Baroque Feast filled with sumptuous dining, live string melodies and grand revelry, where dressing up is encouraged!
