Six brave participants will be randomly selected from the audience for a once-in-a-lifetime chance to hit an apple perched at a daring 40 metres! A $10,000 prize awaits a skilled archer with a steady hand and a sharp eye!

1. IntroductionWelcome to the 50th Birthday Celebration Archery Challenge! By participating in this competition, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
2. Eligibility
1.1. Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
1.2. Participants must be physically capable of operating a bow and arrow safely.
1.3. The following individuals are not eligible to participate: young children, individuals with disabilities that may impair their ability to safely use a bow and arrow, and anyone who has been advised by a medical professional against participating.
1.4. Participants will be selected randomly from the pool of eligible individuals.
3. Competition Details
3.1. The competition will take place on 31 August and 1 September during the 50th Birthday Celebration.
3.2. Six participants will be selected each day, three male and three female. The order of participants will be randomly determined. Each participant will have one chance to shoot an arrow at a target 40m away, with an apple positioned on it. However, if someone successfully hits the apple before all participants have taken their turn, the event will conclude, and not all participants may get a chance to shoot.
3.3. If the apple is struck, the event will conclude, and no further opportunities to win will be available. The apple will be considered "Struck" if the skin has been broken by any part of the arrow. Judging will be conducted by Phillip Leitch of Kryal Castle.
3.4. If a participant successfully strikes the apple, they will win a cash prize of $10,000, transferred by bank deposit within 30 days. The prize is not exchangeable.
4. Safety and Setup
4.1. Safety measures and protocols have been established and tested to ensure the safety of all participants and spectators.
4.2. Participants must follow all instructions provided by the event organisers and safety personnel.
4.3. Spectators are required to remain behind designated safety barriers at all times.
5. Liability and Insurance
5.1. Participants acknowledge that archery involves inherent risks. By participating, they agree to assume all risks associated with the competition.
5.2. The event organisers will provide liability insurance coverage for the event. However, participants are encouraged to have their own personal insurance.
5.3. Participants agree to release and hold harmless the event organisers, venue, sponsors, and their respective employees, agents, and contractors from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their participation in the competition.
6. Legal and Compliance
6.1. Participants must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
6.2. The event organisers reserve the right to disqualify any participant who fails to adhere to these terms and conditions or who engages in unsportsmanlike conduct.
