11.00am – A (Mis) Adventure!

Bringing 16th century clowning back for a giggle, meet Zanni, Columbina and the nasty Pantaloni, characters in a hilarious comedy of errors! Commedia Dell Arte was first performed in the mid 1500’s, and was the beginnings of pantomimes, clowning, improv, comedies, and even sitcoms! Just try not to laugh! Located in the Jester’s Theatre.

11:15am – Wizards Workshop
Find the wizard’s apprentice in the workroom and see them experiment with unusual magical ingredients to produce their famous potions. 11:15am and 1:00pm Located in the Wizards Workroom at the top of ‘Ogglewatch’ Tower.

11.30am – Skill at Arms – Horsemanship Display
Head to the Tournament Arena to see the knights and warhorses of Kryal Castle compete in a challenge designed to test their skills with sword, lance and spear.

12:00pm – Everyone Hates Shakespeare

Everyone hates Shakespeare, right? It’s outdated, boring and unrelatable. Lennox agrees with you! Even when Sampson brings a Lion on stage. And turns someone called Bottom into a donkey… and… wait, what?? And is that Lennox dressed as a lady? Are you sure this is Shakespeare??

12:00pm – Potion Making Classes *
Learn how to create fantastical potions with our Wizard, just below his workshop. Make an array of different concoctions in our classes for only $5 per child! Tickets are limited, and can be purchased from our Wizard, or 15 minutes before Classes start.

12:45pm – A Prince’s Rendezvous
Just outside the Abbey Tavern, between the Knights and Wizard Tower a Prince shall be in finest form as he woos his fair lady. But things are going awry… it’s the kind of disaster you just can’t look away from. At the statue of David

11:00am & 1:00pm – Torture Museum Tour (ages 13+)
Learn about the gruesome histories of crime and punishment in our torture museum. Departs from the entrance to the torture museum.

1:00pm – Wizards Workshop

2:00pm – Royal Joust
Return to the Tournament Arena for the ultimate display of knightly skills. See our knights, wearing full steel armour and riding their amazing warhorses, charge and strike their opponents with their lances.

2:30pm – Everyone Hates Shakespeare

Pony Rides *
Perhaps your little warrior would like to try their hand at a Skill at Arms on our mini ponies? Tickets $10 Or maybe they’d rather be chauffeured on a tiny chariot! Tickets $5

Knights School
Children are invited to take centre stage and learn the skills of knighthood, fighting under instruction from our knights with sword and shield.

Archery Siege *

For just $5, defend your Castle and shoot it out with other players in this exciting game of combat archery. Takes place on the Arena outside the stables after 12:00pm   

Archery Range *
Learn the ancient art of archery at our indoor Archery Range. In medieval times, skill with a bow was important for almost everyone, whether for the battlefield, or for hunting for food or sport. $10 for 15 Archers $5 for 5 Archers

Face Painting *
Ever wanted to be a princess? Or even a dragon. For just $5 our skilled painters can transform you into just about anything. From 11:00am-3:30pm. Located in Fairies & Goblins

Calligraphy
Learn to write with quill and ink. Why not pen a letter to one of our heroes? 11:00am–3:30pm in Fairies and Goblins

All Day Dragon’s Labyrinth
Beware the She-dragon Ushnagh, as you make your way from the castle entrance, through the labyrinth and into the castle grounds. Learn the history of the castle from the ancient manuscripts on the walls and the ghosts of those who never escaped from the ancient catacombs. Children under 10 may prefer a stroll through the She-Dragons egg garden

The Maze

Built on the myths and legends of the realm, our maze is a sentimental favourite for many visitors to Kryal and the most puzzling attraction of all. Take up the challenge… will you return
